01 Our Privacy Principle

Voxel Forge builds tools that work entirely on your device. We do not operate user accounts, we do not run analytics trackers, and we do not sell or share personal data — because we never collect it in the first place.

Where a feature requires data to function (such as the camera for document scanning), that data is processed locally and is never transmitted to our servers.

02 VeriPass — MRZ Scanner App

VeriPass scans the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) of passports, ID cards, and visas. Here is exactly how data flows:

Camera input Processed on-device in real time. Camera frames are never saved as images and never leave your phone.
Scanned data Document fields (document number, name, nationality, dates) are parsed locally using on-device text recognition.
Scan history Saved only in a local database on your device. You can delete individual records or clear all history at any time within the app.
Internet usage None required for scanning. The app works fully offline after initial setup.
Uninstalling Deleting the app removes all locally stored scan history permanently.

03 Permissions We Request

  • Camera — required to scan the MRZ on your documents. The camera is active only while the scan screen is open.
  • Google Play Services — used for on-device text recognition (ML Kit). This runs locally on your hardware.

We request no other permissions. No location, no contacts, no storage access beyond the app's own data.

04 Advertising

VeriPass displays non-intrusive banner ads on the home screen only, served through Google AdMob. Google's use of advertising data is governed by their own policies:

Ads never appear during scanning, and no scanned document data is ever shared with advertising SDKs.

05 This Website

This website is a static page. It sets no tracking cookies, includes no analytics scripts, and performs no user profiling.

Contact form: when you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are transmitted via FormSubmit to deliver the email to us. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is never added to mailing lists or shared with third parties.

06 Your Rights

  • Access & deletion — since your app data lives only on your device, you have full control: view, export, or delete it anytime from within the app.
  • No account needed — there is nothing to log into and nothing to close.
  • Contact requests — if you've contacted us by email and want your message deleted from our inbox, reply to that email and we'll remove it.

This policy covers users worldwide, and is written to be compatible with GDPR (EU), UU PDP (Indonesia), and other major privacy frameworks.
